One of the best things about this online world we live in is the ability to discover new musical talents that may not so readily be done in previous offline mechanisms. American singer-songwriter Kim Kline is one such rare talent ready to be discovered by the wider musical community. She could be one of America's next big female singing stars of the next ten years. I recently heard Kim's music for the first time - her self-titled debut album - and I am immediately impressed by her intensity and passion in vocal delivery. Kim is simply pouring with talent and sex appeal. This album has already made an impact in the United States and her rock vocals are sure to become formidable in other regions in the not-too-distant future. As such, Kim has been nominated for Best Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2007 Los Angeles Music Awards to be held in November 2007. When listening to the tracks, it is soon apparent that Kim writes with much passion about genuine subjects that matter most. She is very self-made, i.e. building herself up from scratch and forging a career that should take her a long way. She is dynamic and sexy and has that touch of angst. Some of the notable tracks with this pleasurable blues-rock theme are “Inside”, “Gotta Let It Go”, “Sick Reality”, and “No Fool”. The general musicianship by her band members is adept also, so it makes for an enjoyable listen. I believe that there is one hot talent to be discovered and, with continued development, Kim Kline is set to emerge as a future star.
