Not my most favoured of genres but I will say that the Kiwis know how to rap marginally better than the so-called pioneers of the genre in Australia (I’m not naming any names!) ‘Raise Up’ is a solid introductory track and ‘Live It Up’, featuring Savage borrows heavily from Savage’s hit of last summer, Swing!, with a similarly agreeable beat. As I’ve said, hip hop has never been my cup of tea but as far as it goes, this album isn't bad. I could definitely see the King growing on me. It also features a remix CD.
