King Rocker Featuring Carlos Mora

First it was foreign films taking the box office by storm and now it seems the music scene is picking up an international flavour with foreign language tracks making the charts such as ‘Crocodile Song’ by Schnappi in German and ‘Gasolina’ by Daddy Yankee in Spanish. ‘Asereko’ (pronounced As-sir-ee-co, which means homie or friend) is the latest foreign language tune to hit the airwaves. Sydney-based Carlos Mora‘s original samba-rap featuring King Rocker is a hot little dance track that looks set to take on the pop/dance scene. Most will recall this upbeat samba tune from a recent Pepsi television commercial dubbed 'dancing legs’ - it featured a pair of legs dancing down the street to meet its other half (the top half, that is) of a guy in a bar. This catchy single comprises five mixes. The four remixes are slightly watered down and infused with phat repetitive electro beats including phone
rings. It will no doubt become a hit at clubs, and gain local street credit just by being an Australian production.
