:: Lifehouse – Who We Are

Lifehouse

Lifehouse are back with their fourth album, entitled Who We Are. Their mainstream soft rock/pop sound is nothing new but their first single off the album First Time is probably the most appealing single off this album. Most of their songs are like love songs with an edge. It’s all about love, heartbreak and deep emotions with this group. But it works and Jason Wade the lead vocalist has that deep voice that grasps you. The album is radio friendly and isn’t trying to hard to be like all the other rock/pop bands out there. Some tracks to listen out for are Storm, which Wade wrote when he was 16, an emotional song written during hard times, and Broken which is the slow heartbreaking song and next single off the album. Bridges and Disarray have more of a raw rock feel. With many of their past singles being memorable hits, overall this album does raise the bar both musically and lyrically.
