Little Birdy

The ascent of Little Birdy to the upper echelon of Australian bands is noteworthy and of great credit to them. Although they could be something of an acquired taste, when considering Katy Steele’s vocals, I have long admired the tenacious way in which they deliver their music. They impress again with ‘Excited’. It’s slightly darker than some of their previously sweeter tracks. The extra depth allows Katy’s vocals to expand into a soaring escape.
