:: Little Red - Listen To Little Red

Little Red

I first saw Little Red last year and thought them to be a fun, energetic band with 1960s music influnces, and that they would strike the right note for an entertainment-packed band. Since then, they have played many live shows and have grown to be a much-liked band. Their debut album “Listen To Little Red” shows the band‘s growth and maturity over this stretch of time, tapping in to the scene with an infectious melodies and loads of energy. Actually, the recorded CD doesn't really indicate how value-packed and cheeky the band can be on the live stage. The album puts forward songs that have been easily loved and recognisable by fans - 'Coca Cola’, Witchdoctor‘, 'Cry Cry’ - and the retro-pop feel of the sixteen tracks will breeze through in no time. In fact, only one songs breaks the three minute mark. The harmonies are terrific and the groove-laden melodies will win over. Listen out to the interchanging of singers - shows their versatility - and pure freshness of sound. There's a lot more to come from Little Red. In the meantime, have a good listen and you'll be singing along with a bunch of enthusiastic musicians.
