:: The McClymonts - Chaos And Bright LightsThe McClymontsThe McClymonts have everything going for them in their efforts to take their music to the world. They are good-looking, confident performers who gel beautifully, and provide melodic, uplifting country music. The three sisters, Brooke, Mollie and Samantha, must be pleased to have finally released their first album together, following an EP in 2006. Their growth as entertainers and songwriters has developed greatly over the past eighteen months, due to constant touring (they undertook a big tour this year with Lee Kernaghan) and just the chemistry of being singing sisters to refine the material. One can't help but be left with a good feeling with a fervent country album such as this, as the girls combined with notable Australian and American songwriters to compile the final tracklisting. And the songs pull no punches either; being quite strong and sensitive. The good thing is the blend of bluegrass and traditional country and done with style and energy, offering something for those not totally favourable with pure country music. Terrific harmonies make this album most enjoyable and nothing would please me more than to see The McClymonts make a big impression internationally. | ![]() http://www.themcclymonts.com.au/ |
