:: McQueen - Life Support ICU

McQueen

Four young ladies from Brighton, England comprise McQueen. Naturally, they are named after the legendary actor, Steve. It‘s my introduction to the band, which has only been together just over two years, and I like what I hear. The song, 'Life Support ICU’, packs an edgy and aggressive punch. The chorus is catchy and the voice of lead singer Leah Duors is something to savour, just in this example. There is capable backing vocals too. Having liked all-girl bands like Kittie, Luscious Jackson and The Donnas, to name a few over recent years, it's great to be able to scope this British band as being able to produce angst-driven, gritty rock. I have good vibes about McQueen being successful, having checked out a bit more about them via their website http://www.mcqueenmusic.com. Just a little bit of fine-tuning and they will click loudly in the rock world. You can get a free download of this song at http://www.rubbersoulmusic.com.au/mcqueen
