Fresh from the success of his second artist album ‘Those Things’, the San Francisco-based producer of all things deep, funky and soulful comes up trumps once again on the latest installment in NRK’s hugely successful Coast 2 Coast mix. Think bumpy, bass-heavy productions and remixes from the likes of Panevino, Richard Earnshaw, Spiritcatcher and Orlando Vaughn, mixed in with some of Migs’ own work, including his Salted mix of Lisa Shaw’s ‘Cherry’ and Shur-I-Kan’s remix of Migs’ ‘Mesmerized’. Tight mixing, good track selection and an up-tempo vibe make this, like past Coast 2 Coast efforts from the likes of Kerri Chandler, Ame and Karizma, one to track down.
