Having known Mihirangi from her days in the group Stiff Gins, it‘s very heartening and exciting to see this talented performer back with a new single 'No War’, which is from her forthcoming album. She is a very creative singer-songwriter and manages to exert her prowess upon the use of loops and electronica in this track. Dosed with political overtones, which is a point in her ideals and thought processes, the track is strong and intense in theme. It will be interesting to see the songwriting path of the album. We know, through her indigenous and community standards, we can expect some forthright opinions in music. At least we have one charismatic and likeable talent on our hands who will sing it as she sees it.
