:: Modernists - Big Score

Modernists

The Modernists provide its debut album, Big Score, playing grooves from the past, present and future. They are smooth to a point, yet capture those funky, soulful moments that give certain excitement to their repertoire. It’s the Sydney band’s debut album and they do it with style. The terrific keyboard talent of Robin Flynn aids the funky drive. Great rhythm and soul provides the platform for The Modernists to scope for more deep-filled grooves and rhythms and one can only express desire to hear and see more of the band. They should be very proud of this effort, as it’s fallen into place decisively.
