I had been introduced to Natasha Stuart through another Sydney music identity and it’s always gratifying to discover new singing talents. I was keen to get a taste of Natasha’s singing ability because of this good recommendation and, upon listening to the “Get 2 Know Ya” EP, I am struck by her vitality and energy in drawing a strong, purposeful vocal range. She has been a supporting vocalist to several Australian artists, including Delta Goodrem, Paul Mac and Richard Clapton. Now it’s time for the wider public to listen to a terrific singer. With her talent, she shouldn’t have to be sidetracked too often for other performers. Natasha has the ability to be a capable performer on the Australian music scene for a long time. The songs are well written (Natasha co-writes with Richie Vez) and catchy enough as a stepping stone to greater things. The good thing to take away from listening to this EP is Natasha’s versatility in styles – being soulful and reflective, to a driving rock sound.
