This is the latest offering from Pacha and it reminds that all great partying has down time as well as up, and Global Chilling is a perfect summer inclusion for enjoying some down time. Spanning three discs cleverly organised from Cafe da Manha style to Bosso Lounge to Noites Tropicais, it features all the kinds of chill out music that a chilled cucumber could possibly want. The Cafe da Manha disc is representative of the standard chill out sounds, with the subdued tones of Jose Gonzalez, new Radiohead and relaxed Armin van Buuren. This is the CD to play when absolute chill out is necessary. Low tempos, classic beats- classic. The Bossa Lounge part is more uplifting; full of jazzy funk and Spanish sounds. Montefiori Cocktail, Omar, Groove Da Pracia and Lulu Joppert combine to make a disc full of snazzy sounds that could be played with a mid afternoon hangover, or could incite a weary body to think about dancing again. The Noites Tropicais disc is light preparation for a night (or day) of partying again. Updated remixes of popular dance anthems like Fragma’s Toca’s Miracle, Love Sweet Sound by Groove Armada and Love On The Line by Crazy Penis feature. There are still hints of chill out found in subdued remixes, but this CD will get your feet tapping. Besides the Noites Tropicais disc is the third one, so you would have had plenty of time relaxing to Cafe da Manha and Bossa Lounge to be ready for it.
