The last twelve months have been prolific for the MYV Award-winning artist. With his unique hip-hop/bhangra style, Panjabi MC has caught the attention of such enthusiasts. The Jay-Z ‘Beware Of The Boys’ remix is included here and it’s been a highlight for him. For those unfamiliar with his work, this compilation has tracks largely from the period 1993-1998. Watch for Panjabi’s sampling method – a tough, rough style that is edgy. But he mixes that with laidback tracks like the gorgeous ‘Ghalla Gurian’, which has the beautiful voice of Hema Sharma. Overall, this CD is well recommended.
