:: P Diddy - Press Play

P Diddy

Don’t you hate it when you purchase an album, hopes high with expectation, only to discover it only has one or two good tracks? Well, this is one of those albums. P.Diddy’s Press Play seems a little self indulgent and sounds just a little as though he is in awe of himself. It’s bland, repetitive and just plain boring. I hate to be harsh but this album just set a benchmark. Ok, it has one good track: ‘Come to Me’ featuring Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger, and it does hold true to Diddy’s own distinct style, but that’s just it. He needs to mix things up, break away and explore new areas. The whole album sounds the same! The album cover looks flash; the CD design is attractive but true to the saying ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ this statement holds true to this album. The exterior is all glitz and glamour, but the inside result is a waste of time.
