Pthalo

Hailing from New Haven, Connecticut, this group of musicians provide moody, impressionable sounds for a first time listen. They command the guitars and bass to a driving, powerful noise and they can comfortably subdue the sound into crossing boundaries where necessary. This was recorded in late 2003 so I would like to hear more recent material to see how they've progressed. Anyway, they show, through influences like Faith No More and Grandaddy, that they can head in the right direction.
