:: Qwiksand - The Fellowship Of The GrooveQwiksandGood change from the regular pop styles. This Californian band engages interest because they merge various styles – funk, reggae, and rock. It’s one of the few bands that can resonate something akin to Red Hot Chili Peppers. They’re gathering good reviews and are highly regarded as a hot new act.
Their live show should surely be terrific if these songs are anything to go by. An impressive song is “Concrete Cowboy”, a rock anthem, while other songs to note are “Black Hole”, where jazzy bass and guitar blend well. The last couple of tracks enable the listener to let loose to some groovy funk. They dish up a good range of styles and have much fun in doing it.
