The four-track EP, Killer Convenience, has been released by up and coming Australian outfit, Rambunctious. The recording is one of the latest in a trend for local bands electing to record roots music. Rambunctious combines their roots influence with acoustic groove, experimental art pop, elements of jazz, post-punk and a detached style. The single, Killer Convenience, is upbeat, catchy and basically, pop with an edge. The vocals are strikingly similar to David Byrne’s of Talking Heads fame, giving the song a likeness to the style of the 80s American group.
