This is a US band that has recently been voted the best group at the US Country Music Awards and they are high sellers, having also had this album debuted at No.1 on the mainstream Billboard chart. Fans familiar with the band will no doubt love the pop-country fare on offer and it will also relate to the romantics of the world in the themes explored. Tracks like “Bless The Broken Road” and “When The Sand Runs Out” will appeal in this regard. In fact, there is some heavy subject matter explored throughout and it probably indicates the maturity of their time as a unit. Throw in a tribute to their fans, in the shape of “Here’s To You”, and they’ve endeared themselves for the foreseeable future. There are a couple of extra features to note. First is a hidden track “Skin” and then there is the bonus of exclusive footage of a documentary on the making of the album.
