This 2-CD set has been compiled by one of Western Australia’s foremost DJs Simon Barwood. I don’t know a lot of his history but he provides energy packed trance rhythms that will make a mark on the Perth dancefloors at least. Just some of the interesting tracks are the Public Domain reworking of Sunscreem’s ‘Love You More’, an old favourite, Tiesto’s excellent ‘Adagio For Strings’, and the strong, anthemic ‘You’re Shining’ by Styles & Breeze. Simon does well in the programming department and he depicts the various moods and energy favourably. Watch for good contributions from Commander Tom, DJ Tricky, and Exodus. This 2-disc album represents good value.
