“Hearts Beat As One” has become the official anthem for the Australian football team (Socceroos) as they strive for the biggest sporting prize of them all, the World Cup, which is being held in South Africa this June. The song was written by Rogue Traders especially for the team, after being asked to do it, and includes the heartbeats of hundreds of Australians that were recorded in the Pulse of the Nation campaign. Also worth noting that the video for ‘Hearts Beat As One’ will be the first 3D music video to be filmed in Australia. The video, directed by Mark Alston, brings to life Rogue Traders’ powerful performance of the song, while a cast of Qantas Socceroos players provide an energetic backdrop. It's a terrific song, most inspirational, and has a great depth. It contains a cool dance rhythm and has the energy to give the Socceroos a real boost.
