It‘s a remarkable thing to think that these guys had their beginnings over forty years ago. The characteristics that have marked their sensational career - the attitude, swagger, energy, songwriting, anti-establishment sentiments - keep resurfacing when others are long out to pasture. The Rolling Stones keep rocking on and on and we still love them. This is quite a gem of a new album actually, filled with the cruising rock blues fans would love. It's their first studio album this century. It's worth checking the trademark sound on 'Rain Fall Down’, ‘Laugh, I Nearly Died’, and ‘Back Of My Hand’, for example. They fill the typical Stones criteria and are presented brilliantly. Mick Jagger still cranks up some ripping vocals and the rock growls still bring amazing results. An exhilarating return by the rock masters and we can again revel in their unsurpassed craft.
