Swedish punk rock outfit Satanic Surfers have been doing their thing since 1989; they released their first EP, Skate to Hell in ’93 and toured Oz in the late ’90s with bands like Lag Wagon and Good Riddance. Their latest offering sees a return to form, with the boys giving some more thought to lyrics and composition than their more recent efforts whilst maintaining their trademark punchy sound. ‘Blood on the Sidewalk’ and ‘Lead Us to the Gallows’ are two of the catchier tracks. The Surfers are set to tour Sweden this year for the first time in seven years as well as making their debut in the States- if ‘Taste The Poison’ goes well hopefully we’ll be seeing Satanic Surfers back on Australian shores soon.
