The catchy intro to this album automatically brought a smile to my face. The first track ‘Logic of ways’ has some great fast-paced, original lyrics to match. The rest of the album didn‘t disappoint. There's a definite British influence, the dark atmospheric music and vocals sounding reminiscent of New Order. This is certainly not a copycat band, however, as the music stays diverse and interesting. It's lyrically strong, prevalently catchy and with rough guitars that add that Aussie edge. This is Screenings’ first album. Keep an eye out for this new Melbourne quartet!
