’Ultrashiver’ is the debut release from The Secret Meeting, a collaboration between Dean Garcia and Collide members, kaRIN and Statik. You will remember Dean as part of the fabulous band Curve from several years ago. This is an intricate set of songs, which the artistry of each band member comes to life, through spacious soundscapes and downtempo grooves amid the epic musical adventure. The voice of kaRIN provides the seductive melodies and delicate charm. It is hard to categorise because the splendid musical atmospheres that give bliss and energy. Listeners will also get covered in dreamy trip-hop and industrial sounds and realise the growing dynamic and noise-building that the band can extract. It's a very good listen and we can only hope that this collaboration continues as each offers something unique.
