:: Various Artists - Ministry Of Sound: Sessions Six

Various Artists

Here is another compilation from the good folk at Ministry of Sound. And like all the other CDs they’ve released, this one does not fail to please. The Ministry have outdone themselves, bringing listeners a huge 60 songs over three discs, mixed by Goodwill, Tommy Trash and Dirty South. Disc one, mixed by Goodwill, has a great opening song, Day ‘n’ Nite and the entire disc is filled with current dance-floor anthems. As Axwell (who also has a song on the CD) says, “A great DJ with a perfect feeling for when to play the right tunes” which is certainly true, and more evident than ever on his disc. Disc two is mixed by Tommy Trash. His song Slide made the Ministry’s 2007 Annual and this time round he features his own song as opening to his disc and opens it does well. Need Me to Stay is a great dance song which is perfect to sing along too. Some great remixes on this disc that don’t disappoint. Disc three, mixed by Dirty South, brings some of the most wanted European club songs to the CD. Its evident here why Mr. South is one of the most sought after fresh, new DJs in house music worldwide; the CD has cutting-edge hits such as their own, We Are as well songs from Sebastian Ingrosso, Heller & Farley Project and Todd Watson & Jason Singh. Overall, a great mix of older songs – such as Fatboy Slim’s Rockerfeller Skank and Robin S’ Show Me Love – and new songs make the compilation fun and enjoyable to listen to. Another hit from the Ministry!
