Shenko is an elegant Melbourne singer-songwriter who has been strong and energetic in putting her name out there in a hands-on approach. This is a pretty good rock album which is a type that will probably grow on listeners. It‘s a basic structure as far as Shenko and her band are concerned, and maybe a little too conservative. However, her vocals are in very good form on tracks like 'Breathless’ and ‘She Takes Control’. She certainly asserts her instincts and charm into the music. She can write a solid tune and there is every chance for her to display her characteristics to forge a good career. This album is promising for being the basis on which Shenko can progress sharply.
