Sia Furler has always showed much promise. From her days based in Adelaide, to now living in Britain, she came on the scene as a vocalist alongside Zero 7 before releasing a solo album a couple of years ago. She has now changed record labels and sets about exploring her musical avenues with purpose. She sits well away from the brash young pop singers of today and delivers some heartfelt songs that have a theatrical sense. Interesting lyrics and well-sung vocals on “The Bully” and “Where I Belong” are noticeable. Sia has a lovely voice, able to produce a soothing, easy sound and she sets a high standard.
