:: Sia - Colour The Small One

Sia

The Adelaide-born, British-based performer provides a spark to the acoustic/chilled tastings of today with some consistently pleasant listening. You’ll remember that Sia collaborated with the creative outfit Zero 7 a couple of years ago. This album is more experimental than her previous album, ‘Healing Is Difficult’, and her husky voice makes for interesting arrangements. “Don’t Bring Me Down” is the first single and the acoustic guitar sits beautifully over the heartfelt strings. Other worthwhile tracks include the soft “Butterflies”, the moving “Breathe Me”, and the more eclectic “Where I Belong”. This is a most enjoyable album and it has a healing effect.
