:: Skryptcha - Left To Write

Skryptcha

It looks like Australia has once again uncovered a very good hip-hop artist; not just an average artist, one that can be very easily compared to Hilltop Hoods, not only in sound but also in talent. Skryptcha (pronounced Scripture) is one of Australia’s most promising hip-hop artists and at just age 22 years of age he has dropped his debut EP; an EP that sounds like it could have easily been recorded by someone who has been the industry for a long time. Opening track ‘Runnin’ Away’ will see Skryptcha compared to Hilltop Hoods a lot, as his voice sounds very similar to Hilltop’s Pressure, but Skryptcha’s strong brass baseline makes this track sound new and exciting. Skryptcha’s smooth styles are there for all to see on ‘Turtles’ while ‘Food For Thought’ is a catchy track that not only sounds great but could also be the radio-hit that launches this talented MC into stardom. The smoothness returns on ‘Ask Yourself’ which is a track you could listen to over and over while ‘State Of Mind’ features the beautiful voice of Juanita Tippins and is a definite summer-beach track. Another great Aussie hip-hop artist surfaces and this is an EP that you will have on high rotation.
