This is the follow-up to their successful first release – a cover of Belinda Carlisle’s “Summer Rain”. It’s a very good song, with good lyrical content and a spirited pop bounce. This will certainly appeal to the teen crowd as lovers of pure pop, and that’s a good market, anyway. Of the B-sides that contain a couple of extra remixes, the Mike Felts mix is a fine addition and the girls do a surprisingly good version of “Careless Whisper”. To top things off, there is another “Summer Rain” mix. Quite a full package that should set them up for an album release in the New Year.
