Rob Smith and Ray Mighty can proudly look back at their achievements over the past fifteen years. This inspiring compilation contains their great tracks, plus rare ones, and it typifies the influence that they hold in the Bristol region of England, from where several notable electronic/drum & bass acts have formed. The Smith & Mighty production quality grew rapidly from their initial stages and set the scene for acts like Massive Attack and Roni Size to follow. The unique basslines and deep soul and reggae flavours are shown on tracks like “Down In Rwanda”, “Wishing On A Star”, “Move You Run”, and “B Line Fine Blow”. Tracks like these drew respect and admiration and they set pulses racing across the UK as to the standards reached. With the inclusion of formidable vocalists such as Lamb's Louise Rhodes and the strong sounding Jackie Jackson, who guests on the Burt Bacharach classic “Walk On By”, the collection sums up a terrific career to date by the two DJ/producers and is highly recommended.
