When you ask an artist why they made their latest album, you more often than not get some wacky response about reaching enlightenment, going on a journey or philosophising life. But what better premise for an album than a tribute to the all time superhero, Superman? Bryan Singer has compiled a bunch of new and old songs that are somehow connected with Superman; however remote the connection may be. When listening to the album, it’s often hard to make any connection with Superman, unless you listen very closely to the lyrics. So listening to this album you don’t really think of Superman much. Yet it’s a great album. Every track is catchy and you try to turn it off but you just don’t want to. If you’re a soft rocker, this album is perfect for a party or any time you want to simply feel good. So when you down in the doldrums, don’t fear. Superman is here!
