Stereophonics

Part of the exhilarating new album by Stereophonics is the immediacy of this single. With a delicate vocal performance amid the fiery chorus, this is a ripping song that should hopefully silence the critics of the band which, for reasons not clear to me, aren’t as appreciated as they should be in this country. “Dakota” is subtlely sublime and still packs a solid punch. It’s a real winner for me.
