The Soundstage Sessions, Stevie Nicks’ first live album of her solo career, was recorded before an intimate audience at the Grainger Studio in Chicago. With guest vocals from Vanessa Carlton and produced by Joe Thomas (Billy Idol, Paul McCartney, Elton John) you just know this album is going to be fantastic. Stevie picked her strongest songs, including an unbelievable orchestral version of ‘Landslide’. Disappointingly, the album hasn’t cracked the number one position in America, but that doesn’t stop it from being a great listen. Standout tracks are ‘Crash Into Me’ and ‘Circle Dance’, although she displays her flawless vocals throughout. This is an easy listening album for old fans and new fans alike.
