Darren Kerry (DJ DK) and Ben Vickers (DJ Stretch) two of the Revolution DJ Team, have put their heads together and come up with a collaboration of tracks which just about hit the spot. “Summer Revolution, A Decade of Dance Anthems”, features two discs of fantastic dance, techno, house and NRG hits from the past 10 years. Disc 1 compiled by DJ Stretch, focuses more on remixes. Bob Sinclair, Armand Van Helden, Martin Solveig’s ‘Rocking Music’ and ‘So Much Love To Give’ by the Freeloaders, are all included on this disc of 16 endless tracks of dance ecstasy. Disc 2 and the hits continue. Darren’s choice of anthems are spot on. ‘Horny’, the fantastic anthem of not so long ago, rubs shoulders with the irresistible (or irritable) ‘Satisfaction’ for some serious dance floor action. Standouts sure to bring back past memories of past partying include ‘Silence’ by Delerium and ‘A Little Bit’ by Pandora. While they may all be songs which have been heard over and over endless amounts of times, the compilation of tracks both old and new, serves only to give this album its individual flair, making it a must have item.
