:: The Casanovas - No Time For LoveThe CasanovasRemember when rock was raw, traditional and sleazy? The Casanovas do a fine job at reliving the era when popular music was unashamedly sexist and only real men played rock’n’roll. The trio from Melbourne has used all these ingredients to create a recipe called No Time For Love. They have thrown in a lead break that is AC/DC inspired and combined that with lustful lyrics and an Australian hard rock sound that emerged in the late 70s and 80s. As a contrast, the second track on the single, Domino, is in the vein of American late 80s hard rock bands like Van Halen. There is also a Def Leppard feel to it. |
