This is the debut album from the Brisbane band. It's one of the best Australian CDs that I've heard this year and confirms the promise indicated in the past twelve months. The sonic explosion of guitar and drums is well augmented by horns, banjo, and fiddle interludes and their brand of catchy pop resonates strongly in the well produced set. The varying instruments provide a range of big and small sounds. All the songs have their own unique identity and delivered charismatically. Just a terrific debut effort and they'll rock the socks off many around the Australian festival circuit, in particular.
