This compilation of tracks can only receive mixed reviews. Overall, the songs combine to make a worthy effort. “Anytime is Now” has the tendency to sound a bit off tune, especially the singing. But then again that could have been the style the group was aiming for. Scratchy vocals and an off whack melody create a somewhat disturbing listen. But it’s not all bad news. As the tracks go on the quality grows. “Along the Steps” takes a completely different road to the heavy metal and crazy drum playing, and takes a more pensive and slow path. “Sexy When Violent” and “The Letter” are also very catchy and pretty good tracks. Lots of drums and a whole lot of guitar strumming is prevalent through most of the songs. Some will like it, and others will offer a different opinion. My opinion - it’s not too bad.
