With the glorious 1960s influences that remain favourable to many, Detroit band The Sights capture a strong and worthy balance of sounds in this album. The melodies and arrangements give ride to the fact that this band has soaked up all it could have absorbed from that era and, combined with their post-punk styling, ensure an appetising set and something to savour. This band could prove to sneak up on many and become quite a force. The potential is there for them to make a mark. You will notice the British influences, a worthy mark in itself, as they feature gospel and blues inspired tracks.
