The Suitable Few

This Sydney-based hip-hop band has produced a very impressive first EP. Foremost in the tracks are catchy, occasionally funny and distinctly Australian rap. They meld this together with heavy drums and catchy guitars. I couldn’t help bopping to this record. The influences on the album range from rock, jazz, funk and swing. It’s varied enough to be interesting, but is consistent enough to produce a coherent sound. You could happily play this whole album at a party and keep a great vibe. This EP lead to the band being signed, and you can hear why.
