Previously known as Plunja and now known as The White Room, the band remind us all of an important point with their new single “Enemies Closer.” That is, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Produced by Phil McKellar who has also worked with Grinspoon and Silverchair among many others, these songs aren’t unlike early Grinspoon. “Set Aside A Time” slows the pace down and with Steph Collis taking over lead vocals, the intro isn’t dissimilar to Little Birdy. A white room may be devoid of colour, but not so on this single.
