Tourettes

Lead singer Michelle Madden shows an intense nature in the grinding band sound. She has a rock voice that growls sexily. It soars to great heights and even gets angry. She can launch into a pulverising sound and the band pushes hard alongside her in a fervent metal fashion. It’s interesting to have a good listen where the Tourettes reveal some sharp beats and metallic blasts. “Kill Em All”, “Stand”, and “Once In A Lifetime”, the Talking Heads cover, are prominent features of the album. Very good value-packed set. This band could produce some real havoc one day. Be sure to catch the live shows.
