Great thinking for this release. It is probably something that young listeners can absorb and gain the favourable impression of what talent was on show by the five great musicians that formed The Travelling Wilburys. It had been difficult to find the old volumes of their work but, thanks to the folk at Rhino Records, it was decided to compile a collection of the supergroup's two albums and a special DVD documentary. The group (comprising the late George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, the late Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, and Bob Dylan) provided several hits and showcased their talents until the sad passing of Roy Orbison in between the two albums. This special collection is a great reminder of each person's gift as a musical force. You won't see a supergroup like it for a long time and with the quality musicianship to match.
