Ultimate Trance Volume 3 is a 4-disc set mixed by some of the biggest names in international trance including Above and Beyond, who ranked #19 in DJ magazine's top 100 DJ poll, America's top trance DJ Christopher Lawrence, who won “Best DJ” at the Dancestar Awards in 2002 and ranked #7 in DJ Magazine's top 100 DJ poll, and up and coming German remixer Alex Megane. Overall the compilation presents remixes that are very upbeat, catchy, fast paced and just generally very enjoyable. This is just what trance is all about… lots of energy, and of course very electronic. These DJ's know their stuff, with Above and Beyond having remixed the likes of Madonna, Dido and Britney Spears, and the result is a very polished collection of electonica. Trance fans will love these tracks, and if you're a fan of retro or even videogame soundtracks, you'll really appreciate this album. These tracks may have been made for nightclub dance floors, but they can be enjoyed just as much at home, in the car, or anywhere you feel like injecting a bit of excitement into. And hey, even if you're a newcomer to this style of music, you won't be able to get some of these very catchy tunes out of your head. Definitely worth a listen.
