The pop-punk genre has spawned many clones and wannabe’s but for Unwritten Law, they seem to have an edge which the others sorely lack. In ‘Save Me’, the guys brandish a harder, more aggressive sound that moves the song away from the “softer” pop feel normally associated with this style of music and more into a harder rock category. By doing so, this song now has much more appeal than it would've done before. However, I'm not sure what they were thinking when they decided to attach a Reggae mix of the song to this single. Put simply - it's appalling.
