Taking their name from an ‘American Psycho’ character, Melbourne hard rockers Vanden, have come up with a gem of an EP. Vanden who? I hear you ask. Vanden, is a band forged from the ashes of others and making plenty of noise on the heavier side of the music scene. With slick riffs and hooks and a real genuine heavy sound, this local five-piece have made some sit up and take notice. Their rock anthems scream and grind their way out from within the confines of the ‘Victims’ EP. Each of the six songs demonstrates a technically sound outfit who are like to delve deeper than most. Like Karnivool before them, the Australian, nay the world stage awaits them.
