The fine tradition of Sydney’s Foghorn Records, from the Damien Gerard Studios, continues with another volume of interesting work from a number of new acts. In compiling the efforts of nineteen unsigned acts, the team serves the country well in trying to develop the future of Australian live bands, and to hone their recording capabilities. A couple of highlights include Melbourne’s Emohawk, Sydney act Shmutt, and Close Call. There are also some more established acts that have been seen around indie circles over the last few years. They include fine Sydney band Merge, as well as Montana, The Tenants, and Beanort. This has proved to be a good source for those seeking out new sounds and Foghorn are to be complimented for this ongoing commitment.
