There have many such CDs over the years, and this season’s isn’t a let down at all. You’ll even like some of the plain trance tunes for some summer fun. The aim has been to give something exciting in new dancefloor music alongside the favourites of recent times. It comes in a new-look slipcase package, emphasising the bright and upbeat nature. You can’t go too far wrong with forty-five tracks and there are sure to be some that had you jumping about during the recent past. Some of the usual favourites arise again, such as Ian Van Dahl, Darude, Voodoo & Serano, Basement Jaxx, and Despina Vandi’s big hit “Gia” shows up also. This compilation is well suited as background music at parties or for cruising around in your flashy sports car. The danceable pop hits are evident – try Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and Jay Z for starters – as well as recent chart toppers by Junior Senior, Solitaire and Pan Jabi MC. A great collection of popular numbers that will appeal to many over the holiday season.
