Hard Kandy is a Melbourne nightclub – the ‘brain child’ of Kandy Kollective - that plays hard house and hard trance music. They have released a variety of music mixes that are highly acclaimed amongst those who enjoy the Hard Kandy music scene. Alex Kidd and Scott Alert mix Hard Kandy Episode 5. Scott Alert has played main stage at many major Melbourne dance events including Two Tribes, Pharmacy, Adventure and Slinky. He was also the only hard dance artist to play at Earthcore main stage, supporting LAB4 in front of 5,000 people. He has played in Malaysia and China, as well as touring with the Hard Nrg 7 Cd, through Ministry of Sound. Throughout 2006 Scott plans to tour and promote Australian music throughout the U.K, Finland, Holland, Malaysia, China and America. Alex Kidd a UK based DJ, whose mixer talent and wild stage antics have been taking the world by storm. A mixture of European Hard Trance, Hard Dance, and even a splattering of Techno, has made Kidd’s music famous for its unique style and dance floor destroying sets. He has toured through Germany and the UK on two occasions, as well as playing at Tunnel Club's 12th Birthday Rave and Tidy's closing party. He has toured Australia and is a favourite at Hard Kandy.
